Terms & Conditions

Consultations

  

You are entitled to a 1 hour free consultation with Ann at Florology or one of her qualified staff/stylists, at which time they will discuss with you in detail all the floral & decorative requirements for your business or other function. This is an in depth consultation where all the items required for your function are discussed including colour scheme, flower types, availability, colour themes, styles, delivery, booking and payment, Ann will also provide you with professional advice and opinions during this time. You are more than welcome to call or email at anytime with any changes or queries you may have.

 

After the initial consultation, we will prepare a detailed quotation as per the details discussed at the meeting, which will be e-mailed to you.

Booking

  

Once you have decided to proceed with the quotation, a non-refundable deposit of 50% (“the deposit”) of the total of the order is required in order to secure your booking. Note: no booking is confirmed until the full payment has been received and you agree to all the items as listed on the quotation, whereupon you wil receive an order no from us by way of confirmation.

Cancellations

 

Cancellation of the function date:

Should you need to cancel the date your booking, you will need to notify us in writing as soon as possible. We are happy to transfer your booking to another date, subject to availability, with a minimum of 1 months notice. Cancellations within 2 months of the date of a wedding and 7 days of a funeral, will incur an additional 50% cancellation fee.

Postponing the function date:

 

Should you need to change the date or postponed the date of the function; you will need to inform us in writing. Should the “new” date be available, we will confirm it with you in writing. Should the date not be available, you will forfeit the deposit.

Should we need to cancel your order:

 

In the extreme and unlikely circumstance that we may need to cancel your order, or are unable to fulfil your order due to illness, injury, accident or any other circumstance beyond our reasonable control, and we are unable to find another suitable supplier, we will inform you in writing, and refund to you any amounts you have paid to us.

Confirmation

 

All orders must be confirmed 2 months prior to the date of a wedding and 7 days prior to a funeral. We do not take any responsibility for any errors or omissions once the order has been confirmed.

Substitution Policy

  

We cannot control seasonal changes or availability of particular flowers and colours. However, we will us our reasonable endeavours to provide you with the products which have been agreed upon. If we need to make changes or substitutions we will advise you as soon as possible and advise you of the most effective and most suitable situation, and will ensure it is of good quality and equal value.

Delivery

 

We will deliver and set up at all destinations within a fifteen mile radius of our address. All delivery dates are confirmed the week of the wedding or funeral..  In the event that there is no person available to receive the goods, the goods will be left in a safe place and we will contact you to advise you where the goods have been left,. Should your goods need to be re-delivered, you will be required to pay another delivery fee.

Delivery and Set Up At The Venue

 

We will deliver, set up and pick up as quoted to the required destination.. We will require access & appropriate working conditions in order to fulfil our order with you. You will need to inform the venue of what you have employed us to do and also the time we require to set up on the day. Should we be denied access, be delayed by the venue or any other supplier on the day, be presented with unsafe or hazardous working conditions, we will complete everything using our reasonable endevours, However, , if we are unable  complete  your order,owing to no fault of our own, we will leave the products at the venue.

Items Lost or Damaged

 

Should your goods be lost or damaged after delivery, we can not accept liability for this.

​

Hired Items

 

All hired items as outlined in your quotation/order are the responsibility of the hirer from the point of delivery to the time of pickup of the goods. Should any items be lost, damaged or stolen it is the responsibility of the hirer to pay for the replacement retail cost of any of those items. You will be informed within 48hours, if this is the case. We will require your credit card details for this purpose.

Workshops/Courses/Events

 

Full payment is required to secure a place on a Workshop/course/event (confirmed by Florology). In the event that a delegate is unable to attend a booked course, we would endeavour to transfer to another Workshop/course/event. If it it not possible to transfer dates, and outside of a 14 day deadline to the course date we would return monies. Should the delegate wish to cancel, they would be refunded in full, however cancellation falling within 14 days of a workshop/course/event would require full payment.

Privacy

 

All your personal details are treated as confidential information and will not be disclosed under any circumstances to other parties, without your written authority.

​

Payment

 

Should be in the form of a direct deposit to our nominated account, details of the account are attached to the bottom portion of your quotation or by request. All payments need to be received and processed before any items can be despatched.

​

Liability

  

You agree and acknowledge that Florology Limited is not responsible or accountable for any personal injury or negligence resulting from use of goods supplied to you, or on behalf of you. We cannot by law exclude or limit any liability for death or personal injury which we cause by our negligence. Florology Ltd limits its liability in all transactions for any direct losses which it causes to the amount received by it in connection with an individual order. Florology Limited is not liable for any indirect and consequential losses howsoever caused, including without being exhaustive any loss of revenue, margin, or business opportunity and any loss of profits whether direct or indirect.

 

Florology Limited reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions without notice. Terms and Conditions published on this website will always be the latest version and will override any prior Terms and Conditions provided in any other form.
